Paolo Bini was born in Battipaglia, Italy in 1984. He currently lives and works in Naples.
His practice explores the relationship between space, color, and environment, drawing on a background in scenography from the Academy of Fine Arts in Naples. Bini approaches the pictorial surface as an open structure in dialogue with its architectural and geographic context. His work extends beyond the canvas into installations and site-specific interventions, where light and spatial conditions actively inform the composition. Through chromatic layering and formal restraint, he constructs visual systems in which color generates structure, rhythm, and atmosphere. Suspended between abstraction and construction, his work reconsiders the role of painting within space. In recent years, he has expanded his practice to include environmental formats, engaging the viewer in immersive spatial relationships. Across media and formats, Bini’s works articulate a language rooted in material sensitivity and spatial awareness.
